Group Practices
The
VIPsystem provides one comprehensive software application that
captures all aspects of provider related data and interfaces to key
industry systems. The all-inclusive design allows clients to eliminate
duplicate entry and often results in the sun setting of redundant,
single task applications. The VIPsystem is a powerful provider information management
system, which supports Provider Relations, Contracting, Credentialing,
Fee Code Tracking, Special Services Tracking and Quality Management.
The
overall system provides workflow solutions including:
Form
Population:
Populate
applications and forms as needed. Simply scan any form or
application into the system and code it once—with the ability to use
it again and again. Vistar has created codes (800+) for every
data field in the system, providing a great deal of flexibility for
application population and letter development.
Ticklers
and Reporting:
Vistar
offers sophisticated ticklers and aging functions to move the file
along the credentialing process and track productivity. A powerful
aging function against committee due dates and attestation dates
serves as key indicators. Each user can set the order of their work by
the days left to committee or the days left on the attestation period
so they are always working the most important file first.
Scanning/Image
Capture:
Scanning
– An intricate part of the workflow automation comes standard with
the VIPsystem. You never
pay extra for a key part of automated credentialing. Vistar’s
rules-based credentialing allows you to set criteria for required
documents. The system will automatically check for the scanned images
and notify you of missing or incomplete documentation.
Image
Capture – For fast and easy electronic verifications, such as
Internet verifications, completed with one click of a button.
Automatic
Confirmation – Profiles are updated with verification dates when you
scan or capture verification documents.
Managed
Care Specific Screens:
Vistar has been designed to accommodate the many diversified
relationships and contractual scenarios dictated by today's managed
care industry. CVOs, MSOs, Practice Management, Insurance Plans,
and IPAs find the VIPsystem to be flexible and responsive.
